Image Matrix Printmakers of Mississauga
is located at Visual Arts Mississauga at Riverwood, 1475
Burnhamphorpe Rd. West Mississauga, Onatrio Canada. Image
Matrix is a non-profit organization which provides the opportunity
for members to engage in a wide range of fine art printing
techniques - from intaglio to relief using non-toxic processes.
This unique facility provides a studio for artist printmakers
in Mississauga to develop their talent and actively promote
the development of this art form.

Did
you know? All the works in this website are
ORIGINAL PRINTS - That is to say they are "pulled"
from plates that form the images.
ORIGINAL PRINTS-
are of limited edition and are numbered according
to their order of printing, e.g. 1/10 - 10/10 in an edition
of 10. The plate is then destroyed and no more prints are
pulled.
REPRODUCTION
"PRINTS"- That is
to say photo-reproduced images of an original watercolour or
oil, etc. e.g. gallery posters of a Van Gogh oil or a Robert
Bateman watercolour. Some of these reproductions can be
numbered and signed by the artist for commercial purposes.
